Electric golf carts contains batteries that power an electrical motor. Battery size can vary from 36V or 48V with the higher battery capacity producing longer driving range. The biggest advantage of an electric golf cart over gas golf cart is the lower cost of maintenance mainly being attributed to the cost of gas itself and other common maintenance routines one would find in a car.
Body Style
Other than the commonly known body style of golf carts mentioned above, other variations of golf carts can include a trailer with a canopy for light hauling purposes, some may come with an elongated body to accommodate a few more seating rows and can carry up to a total of 6 people.
